This is a professional test kit for safe, fast and easy macroscopic etching of cross-sections of aluminium welds for inspection. This makes it easy to determine the depth and quality of the weld seam. This kit is suitable for various types of aluminum.
With this test kit you can make about 100 macro etchings from aluminum welds.
In addition to etching fluid, sandpaper, safety gloves and etching fluid applicators are also included in this kit.

Use
The welded joint must be first cut. Then the weld seam must be grinded flat by hand with the sandpaper from this kit. Afterwards the weld can be etched with the etching liquid from the kit. The weld seam can then be visually inspected. The weld will be colored blue, and in some cases grey.
