With the TK11EX, you can collect dirt or liquid using the included collector swab and test the sample in the included mixing bowls using the test swab from the standard TK11 test kit.

This extension set makes it possible to test liquids for the presence of chromium‑6, which cannot be done with the standard test kit. Even very small droplets on a surface can be collected and tested. Dirt can also be tested without contaminating or darkening the test swab, ensuring that the purple colour change (if chromium‑6 is present) remains clearly visible. Another advantage is that no chemicals need to be rubbed directly onto the object being examined, ensuring that the object itself does not come into contact with any reagents.
